These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mp3towav.online website and the free browser-based MP3 to WAV converter (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
mp3towav.online provides a free, browser-based MP3 to WAV audio converter powered by WebAssembly. Audio files are processed entirely in your browser — the converter uploads no files to any server. The site is supported by advertising.
2. Free Converter
The browser-based converter is free to use with no account required. We do not impose per-day usage caps; the limits we do enforce are a 100 MB cap on each individual file and a maximum of 50 files per batch, and beyond those, practical limits come from your own device's available browser memory. You may use the converter for both personal and commercial purposes. Audio files are processed locally in your browser using WebAssembly and are not transmitted to our servers.
3. Advertising
The site displays third-party advertising, currently through Google AdSense. Advertising content is served by Google and its partners; we do not control which specific ads appear. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising affects data collection in your browser.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Convert files you do not have the legal right to process
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the WebAssembly audio engine
- Attempt to circumvent technical restrictions of the Service
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the audio files you convert using the Service. mp3towav.online does not claim any ownership over your content.
The mp3towav.online website, the Sonic Converter audio engine, and all associated code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of mp3towav.online. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The quality of converted audio depends on the source MP3 file — converting a low-bitrate MP3 to WAV will not improve its audio fidelity.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, mp3towav.online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
