Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Articles on mp3towav.online are published under the byline MP3toWAV Editorial Team. That is the small group that runs this site and writes its guides. We are not a certified audio-engineering body and we do not claim professional credentials; what we publish is based on documented behaviour of the tools and formats involved, checked hands-on where we can.

What we write about

Audio file formats, conversion workflows, and the tools used around them. If a topic falls outside what we can verify, we either do not cover it or we say plainly what is uncertain.

Sourcing

  • Technical claims about formats and codecs come from published specifications and the documentation of the tools concerned.
  • Claims about a third-party product's behaviour, pricing, or limits come from that product's own documentation, and we link to it rather than restating numbers that change often.
  • We do not present performance figures as our own measurements. Where we cite a benchmark or a specification, it comes from the manufacturer or a named third party, and we say so rather than implying we measured it.

Testing

Where an article describes a procedure — a command, a setting, a conversion path — we run it before publishing and describe the result we actually observed. If we could not test something, the article says so.

What we will not publish

  • Invented user counts, ratings, reviews, or testimonials.
  • Superlatives we cannot substantiate. Where we rank the products in a round-up, the comparison is scoped to the products in that article and to published figures we can point at — not to every product on the market.
  • Comparison figures for competitors that we have not verified against the competitor's own current documentation.
  • Guarantees about privacy or legal compliance beyond a factual description of how the software behaves.

Use of AI and automation

We use AI tools to assist with drafting, outlining, and editing. Every published article is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and that person is responsible for its accuracy. AI output is never published unreviewed.

Advertising and independence

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense, described in our Privacy Policy. Advertisers have no input into what we publish or how we describe any product. Where we recommend a tool that competes with our own converter, we say so.

Updates and dates

The date shown on an article is the date of its last substantive review. We do not refresh dates to appear current; if the content did not change in a way that matters to a reader, the date stays where it was.

Corrections

If you find an error, email hello@mp3towav.online. We correct factual errors as soon as we can confirm them, and material corrections are noted in the article.
